Cocamide DEA (CDEA)
Appearance: Light yellow viscous liquid
Application: CDEA is widely used in various personal care products such as detergents, body washes, shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, oral cleansers, etc.
Cocamide DEA is a nonionic surfactant synthesized from coconut oil and diethanolamine. It is a light yellow to amber viscous liquid, easily soluble in water. Its characteristics include thickening, foam stabilization, emulsification and decontamination ability, in acidic conditions and anionic surfactant complex can significantly enhance the viscosity, widely used in shampoo, shower gel and other daily chemical products, the recommended dosage is 2%-6%.
Cocamide DEA/CDEA/Cocamide Dea is a mild surfactant known for its excellent cleansing, foaming, and conditioning properties. With low irritation and a gentle profile, it produces fine, stable foam, making it ideal for shampoos, body washes, and facial cleansers. It enhances the softness of hair and skin. When combined with anionic surfactants, CAPB acts as an effective thickener. It also functions as a versatile conditioner, wetting agent, bactericide, and antistatic agent in cosmetic formulations.
